Simple currant cake baking school

Ingredients for 12 servings
For the dough:
- 200 grams of sugar
- 200 grams of butter, soft
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 2 eggs
- 300 grams of flour
- 1 packet of baking powder
For covering:
- 600 grams of black currants
- 100 grams of sugar
- 50 grams of flour
- 2 eggs
1. Prepare the dough

For the dough mix the flour with the baking powder, place in a food processor container, then add sugar, butter cut into pieces, vanilla sugar and the beaten eggs and work into a homogeneous dough.
2. Pour the batter into the mold

Now pour the mixture into a baking paper-lined mold, press it flat and bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees (top and bottom heat) for about 15 minutes.
3. Prepare the topping

In the meantime, put the flour and sugar in a bowl, add the eggs and stir well.
4. Add currants

Now strip the currants from the stems, wash well, pat dry and stir into the egg mixture.
5. Finish the cake

Now distribute the topping on the pre-baked cake batter and bake for another 20 minutes.
6. Serve cake and enjoy

Finally, take the cake out of the oven, let it cool, cut into pieces, dust with icing sugar and serve.
