Quark cake – recipe

Quark cake is a popular Russian pastry. A simple recipe that always works.

ingredients For 12 Servings

150 G sugar
400 G Flour smooth
2 Tbsp Cocoa powder
4th Pc Eggs
200 G butter
1 Pk baking powder

Ingredients for fullness

2 Pk vanilla sugar
250 G butter
3 Pc Eggs
500 G Quark
1 Pk Pudding powder
200 G sugar

recipe preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees top / bottom heat.
  2. Then make a dough out of the flour, sugar, butter, cocoa powder, an egg and baking powder in the food processor and cut in half.
  3. Press half of the dough into a springform pan and pull up the edge.
  4. For the filling of the quark, sugar, butter, eggs, vanilla sugar and the pudding powder, stir a cream and pour into the springform pan.
  5. Spread the 2nd half of the dough on the quark mixture and the Quark cake Bake for 60 minutes.
