Christmas ring cake recipe

This Christmas bundt cake smells wonderfully of gingerbread. A recipe that should not be missing in any Christmas bakery.

6th Pc Egg yolk
6th Pc Protein
100 G butter
100 G powdered sugar
6th Tbsp Cocoa powder
1 TL Gingerbread spice
100 G Granulated sugar
1 prize Powdered sugar for dusting
175 G Flour
1 TL baking powder

recipe preparation

  1. For the Christmas ring cake Mix the butter, which is at room temperature, with the powdered sugar until frothy, gradually add the yolks and stir in for 1/2 minute each time.
  2. Beat the egg whites with the granulated sugar until stiff and fold carefully with the whisk under the butter and yolk mixture.
  3. Mix the flour with the baking powder, cocoa powder and gingerbread spice and slowly fold into the dough.
  4. Pour the mass into a buttered and crumbled Gugelhupf tin and bake at 170 ° C (top and bottom heat) for about 1 hour.
