Vegan sponge cake recipe

This vegan sponge cake dough is easy to prepare and then topped up as you like. The recipe is vegan and sugar-free.

ingredients For 1 Servings

225 G Flour
130 G Birch sugar / xylitol
250 mg Soda
50 ml Rapeseed oil
1 TL baking powder
1 Msp Vanilla, ground
1 Spr Oil, for greasing
1 prize Flour, for dusting the mold

recipe preparation

  1. First preheat the oven to 180 degrees circulating air. Then take a baking bowl, add flour, xyilt, vanilla and baking powder and stir well together. Now add the sparkling water and oil and stir in both briefly.
  2. Then grease a cake tin, beat out with flour, add the dough and bake on a medium heat in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes. Then use a stick test to check whether the base is baked through.
  3. As soon as the vegan sponge dough is finished, take it out of the oven, let it cool and then process it as you like.

Tips to the recipe

For example, the base can be topped or coated with pears, chopped walnuts, grated chocolate and whipped soy cream.
