- Put butter in a bowl and melt a little in a double boiler. Put the chocolate in another saucepan and melt it in a double boiler.
- Beat egg yolks with sugar until frothy. Stir in the almond, then stir in the softened butter and the cooled chocolate. Finally fold in the whipped egg whites.
- Pour the dough into a greased springform pan and bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees (top and bottom heat) for about 25 minutes.
- The thin cake should be a bit soft inside but not runny.
